ACME provides work-shops available for parents, educators, schools, and child-based facilities. Our programs are built to help provide knowledge and techniques to better assist each child.
TOPICS RANGE FROM:
Child development
Sensory integration in the classroom and at home
Sensory diets
Developmentally appropriate toys
Fine and gross motor development and activities
Sensory feeding techniques
Workshops are offered once or twice a month in the evenings at our Martinsville location, pending interest and participation. Each workshop is tailored to a specific topic and will provide a detailed description and understanding for education and resource. ACME Therapies will provide step-by-step instruction, ideas, and examples to assist with home activities that will stimulate your child’s development and progress.
In addition to workshops ACME Therapies offers Therapeutic Social Group Outings that utilize social skill development learned in therapy sessions. These sessions are available to established patients and take place on Saturdays. For more information please contact the office directly.
